Valgroup Perforated Coils: Efficiency in Slaughterhouses

15/05/2024

The food production process within slaughterhouses follows strict standards to ensure the quality, origin and longer shelf life of the product that reaches the shelves. In an increasingly demanding market, slaughterhouses have been constantly updating themselves and investing in new resources to achieve this.

In packaging, one of the most important stages of this process, the resources in various slaughterhouses nowadays include barrier packaging in perforated coils. Unlike conventional packaging, separate and sent to slaughterhouses individually, perforated coils can store a large volume of units in a single piece and, above all, facilitate, speed up and optimize handling on the production line.

Due to their shape, perforated coils are easy to store. They take up little space and are easy to transport. Because of this, they also contribute to the logistical process of the chain between supplier and buyer, taking up little space and able to be transported in large volumes.

This all generates a substantial gain in safety, space, speed and, of course, finances. With a quicker, safer operation, food reaches the consumer’s table with better quality and flavor.
