Valgroup and Sidel join expertise to expand beverage market solutions

Valgroup and Sidel are each contributing their respective capabilities to advance new possibilities in secondary packaging for the beverage market. By combining Sidel’s EvoFilm equipment with Valgroup’s high-performance stretch films, this business initiative brings forward a solution focused on both operational efficiency and sustainability.

The technology enables the formation of bundles without the need for heat-shrink ovens, supporting reduced energy consumption and, in certain applications, enabling lower material usage. In addition, the stretch films are designed to be 100% recyclable and can incorporate up to 30% post-consumer recycled resin (PCR) while maintaining high standards of performance and productivity.

This development also integrates two key sustainability-driven initiatives from Valgroup. Easy Cycle promotes packaging design centered on recyclability and material compatibility, while Better Pack supports the incorporation of post-consumer recycled resin (PCR) into film compositions, further enhancing environmental performance.

Through this aligned commercial effort, Valgroup and Sidel demonstrate their focus on innovation and expand the range of solutions available to the beverage industry.
