To further reaffirm this commitment, we have BIO-V, an additive developed with advanced accelerated biodegradability technology, which makes a plastic bag decompose in landfills in up to 5 years, without leaving microplastics in the environment.

If compared to conventional plastic, BIO-V brings the advantages of:

• Being fully biodegradable, not affecting the plastic’s recyclability.
• After tested, it was found that 79.6% of a material with BIO-V already turned intoCH4, biomass and CO² in up to 942 days (graph)*; CH4, biomass and CO² in up to 942 days (graph)*.
• BIO-V takes only 5 years to decompose completely in anaerobic environments, according to the ASTM D 5511 test.
• BIO-V carries the same characteristics, strength and resistance as conventional plastic.
